GUITAR FOR BEGINNERS

Originally presented on public television, this lesson series employs the latest split screen video techniques to show details of hand positions, music notes, tablature etc. Now, with the advent of CD ROM movies, it is possible to play these lessons on your computer. In addition, any part of the lesson can be quickly accessed for repetition with simple mouse controls. The easy play-along exercises make it a snap to learn music reading as well as guitar tablature and chord symbols. The printed manuals complete the learning package.

Frederick Noad is an outstanding musician, acclaimed internationally for his many instructional books and television programs. His book Solo Guitar Playing is the standard reference in music schools and universities all over the world. Originally broadcast on public television, this 24-lesson course, now available on interactive CD-ROM, teaches the important aspects of guitar technique and music reading in complete, easy-to-follow lessons. Enclosed with each set of four lessons is an instructional booklet containing practice material and many extra studies. Each lesson concludes with a performance by Mr. Noad.
